The tour includes visits to scenic viewpoints overlooking the Waitematā Harbour and the charming seaside village of Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore. Travel in a small group with expert commentary from award-winning local guides, offering insight into Auckland’s culture, geography and history.

Following breakfast, check out and depart Auckland on a full-day journey to Rotorua via Waitomo. Travel through the fertile Waikato and King Country regions, with informative commentary from your local driver-guide along the way.
At Waitomo, enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves, formed over 30 million years ago. Walk through impressive limestone caverns before boarding a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto, illuminated by thousands of glowworms.
Continue on to Rotorua, travelling through the picturesque Fitzgerald Glade, where native trees form a natural tunnel over the road.

After breakfast, join a half-day Rotorua sights tour. Begin at Te Puia, a centre of Māori culture and geothermal activity, featuring geysers, boiling mud pools and steaming vents.
Continue to Rainbow Springs Nature Park, home to native flora and fauna, including the iconic New Zealand kiwi. The tour concludes at the Agrodome, where you’ll enjoy a lively sheep shearing show and sheep dog demonstrations showcasing New Zealand’s farming heritage.

After breakfast, check out and take a SIC transfer to Rotorua Airport for your flight to Queenstown.

Queenstown is known for its vibrant dining and entertainment scene. A list of recommended cafés, restaurants and bars will be shared closer to your arrival. Optional activities and tours can be added on request.

After breakfast, depart on a full-day tour to Milford Sound, one of New Zealand’s most iconic natural attractions.
Board a scenic cruise through the fiord, taking in towering cliffs, deep blue waters and spectacular waterfalls including Bowen Falls and Stirling Falls. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as fur seals, penguins, dolphins and, occasionally, whales. Some vessels also feature underwater viewing areas.

After breakfast, make your own way to the Skyline Queenstown Gondola. Enjoy a scenic ride on the Southern Hemisphere’s steepest gondola, ascending 450 vertical metres to Bob’s Peak for panoramic views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains.

Following breakfast, check out and travel by SIC transfer to Franz Josef.
After arrival and hotel check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the township or relax amidst the surrounding alpine and rainforest scenery.
